97 – Kent St. Golden Flashes 8-4 SU; 8-3 ATS
Fargo’s Take Golden Flashes are arguably one of the more improved teams in the Missouri Valley Conference this season. They defeated Missouri St. in overtime to defend ดูหนังออนไลน์ฟรีtheir conference title last season and defeated previous members Colorado St. and Mississippi St. to enter into the title game. Replacing All-avenues quarterback Mitch Mustain is no easy task and the emergence of freshman Will Proctor at tailback caught the attention of everyone. The offensive line also features six players who have started at least one game for the Golden Flashes including three sophomores. Tight end Rhowena Hughes had a breakout season and is a final candidate to make everyone’s game day roster. The defense returns the most starters of any team in the conference while the schedule starts the season with three of four on the road.
Returning Starters on Offense – 5 Mustain replaced frustrating quarterback Brad Smith who would make more mistakes, and that israising the bar greatly. Smith had alternatives คลิปหลุดทางบ้านbefore he was handed the reins and they were limited at best. Concentration and sharp decisions will be the biggest improvement needed if this team wants to improve its scoring output. Mustain will be the leader and is the odds on favorite to win the Heisman while Smith looks to be veering towards the end of his career. Running back Jay Benson was the rushing game leader in 2005 but he will be pushed by Covetay Young who had 42 receptions last season as the leading returning receiver from the GoldenFlashes. The tight end position is a clear spot but ดูหนัง hdobscurity is sure to fall upon whichever player assumes the slot.
Returning Starters on Defense – 5 The Golden Flashes finished 5th in the Missouri Valley Conference in total defense and 13th in scoring defense last season but six players need to be replaced to get back to that position. The front seven is deep once again and especially at linebacker where two players are back from injury. The defense allowed fewer than 20 ppg for the first time in two seasons and the improvement should continue. The back seven is very young but that will not matter as it is the strength of the Golden Eagles. They are not going to transform into a very successful defense overnight but with the amount of youngsters, consistent depth and ability to replace players Nat Berhe will still found ways to get it done. Young players who return 22 of 23 starters should thrive once again.
Schedule The schedule starts off very rough with non-conference road games at Nevada, Arkansas St. and Louisiana oval, before returning home in the seasonหลุดจากมือถือ finale against La-Monroe. The other two out of conference games are home contests against Sam Houston St. and Mississippi St. before traveling to Georgia, Florida and Auburn. If these games don’t go as planned the Golden Eagles will most likely be 4-0 when they host Mississippi St. on Nov. 12, the game that could bring about a change of fortune. The non-conference finale is at home against Tennessee. This is by far the best non-conference slate in the Nextel cup era and the potential is there for a lot of revenge in Louisville’s first ever “over/under” game. The road games continue with a tough home contest against Cincinnati and a road game at Arkansas. Auburn is off the schedule.
You can bet on… If the Golden Eagles can only go a respectable 2-4 ATS in their conference games, three of their six conference home games against Kansas St. and Missouri St. are probably scoreless. That being said, the more experienced coaching staff and players in the Golden Eagles favor this being a respectable year. The Golden Eagles have been predictable in the past, but not this season. La-Monroe is off the schedule.
You can bet on… The La-Monroe Warhawks are very good and odds on them being the short end of the stick in next month’s Tipoff Classic in Louisville are way too high. They were a very strong home team last season before buckling as the conference season progressed. La-Monroe doesn’t have the weapons to win the conference title and it won’t happen this year. The Warhawks will be slight favorites in all of their home conference games. When La-Monroe travels to thewest, however, this will be a surprise team. Kentucky is the only other non-conference opponent.
You can bet on…
